When it comes to running a successful law firm, data is king. Attorneys, office managers, and paralegals all rely on data to make better decisions. At CASEpeer, we help personal injury law firms nationwide harness their information on a higher level, making them more proactive and powerful. That said, law firms can be wary when it comes to switching case management solutions. What will happen to their historical data hosted in an antiquated database?

At CASEpeer, we know your data is priceless. We appreciate its importance and take every measure to provide a successful transfer from your previous system into CASEpeer. With each individual customer, our data implementation team ensures no piece of information is left behind.

Unlike other legal case management companies, transparency and communication are key in all aspects of our business, including data transfers. CASEpeer guarantees every custom transfer meets our exacting specifications.

Every CASEpeer data transfer goes through the following stages:

Stage 1 – Initial Pull

In the first stage of the data transfer process, you’ll be introduced to your data implementation specialist. They will work alongside your client manager to provide a seamless experience.

The specialist will arrange to obtain a sample of data. This allows our data migration team to write a custom script to “match” your data into CASEpeer. For example, they will match your current accident date with the date of loss field in CASEpeer.

During this time, your law firm will continue to use your existing case management solution.

Stage 2 – Review and Give Feedback

In the review stage, our data implementation team will set up a screen share meeting with you. During the meeting, a member of our team will show you how your sample data looks in CASEpeer.

You’ll see how client files look, where your important documents are located, and more. You will also receive a login to a temporary CASEpeer data review account, where you can go through the import in your own time.

This is your opportunity to give our team feedback. Feel free to be open and honest – the more feedback you give, the better our team can serve you. The review process will repeat as needed.

Stage 3 – Approve Data

Once your data is exactly how you want it, you will give the final approval to our data implementation team. They can now proceed with pulling your final data into your new CASEpeer account.

Stage 4 – Final Data Pull and Import

No Data Left Behind-03

At this point, our migration team will take all the data in your previous system and transfer it into CASEpeer,  per your specifications from the feedback stage.

We know your law firm can’t afford down time. This process is usually done at the end of a workday, so you can come in the next day and begin using CASEpeer.

That night, your data is successfully imported into your brand new CASEpeer account!

Your data’s security is important to us. We take every precaution with your data during the transfer process, as well as all data in CASEpeer. Follow this link to learn more about our security features.
